Some traditions should never change

TEMPERING THE PAST WITH THE FUTURE.

I was fortunate to have a family that instilled within me core values & character traits which guide my personal and professional life. It is about doing the right thing... which is often not the easiest thing.

Word's become trite when they are overused and under-exercised; honesty, commitment, and loyalty are the building blocks of a true business partnership.  These words are found on every companies website, but they never define what these mean or how they are tangibly applied to themselves, their employees, and the customers they serve, unlike Terracom. 

Honesty – TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. Honesty and integrity go hand in hand.  It is about doing the right thing in everything we do. Should we falter, we take immediate and full responsibility and make it right. But it doesn't stop at that. Regardless of how minor something may seem we fully evaluate the root cause... how did this happen? Why did it happen? Where was the breakdown and what practice must be implemented or strengthened to assure it is not repeated. 

FULFILLING OUR PROMISE- we take promises very seriously, and will not make such unless it can be fulfilled. This word is not some sales tool.  It is the reflection of who we are..  

Commitment – To be truly good at something one must be committed to meeting expectations regardless of the effort needed. It is about relentless diligence to make something good, something great; about making tomorrow better than today, and never being satisfied with mediocre.  

Loyalty – When I first entered the corporate world I was asked to define loyalty.  I said it was standing by those who gave us the opportunity to be more and better ourselves regardless of any stumbling blocks that may arise. I was told that I was naive... in the business world loyalty was not personal, nor earned but instead bought by those paying the most. 

We have, and shall always stand by our customers who have made this business possible... in good and not so good of times. Loyalty is not a product that one buys and sales. It is a lifelong contract.
